This dark primary bedroom was in desperate need of some light! The room’s new color scheme was inspired by a piece of inherited Irish belleek and a love of blues, resulting in a calm and inviting retreat. New nightstands immediately updated the room with their contrasting wood tones, but the shape and style are still cohesive with the more traditional bed and dresser that were staying in the room. A neutral paint color further brightened the entire space and accentuated the gorgeous wallpaper behind the bed. The wallpaper is an absolute stunner, and the rug was selected to complement - not compete - with the beautiful patterns and colors in the accent wall. The rest of the room is light and neutral, with a painting of the Irish countryside (a nod to the belleek that started it all) and a sentimental gallery wall for the couple.
