We take a hybrid approach to design, providing you with all the elements to create a beautiful space without the mark-ups and installation fees of full-service design firms. We work with a large range of budgets and collaborate throughout the entire process to ensure your home meets your needs functionally, aesthetically, and affordably. Our unique design process and budget-conscious mindset allows Third Street Interiors to create stylish spaces for everyday life.
Meet Catherine
Catherine has always been creative. Growing up, she sketched and painted any chance she had and won local art contests as a student. Her interest in interiors and home decor also started at a young age. She regularly convinced her parents to rearrange the furniture in her bedroom, constantly tweaked the items on her bookshelf, and even redecorated her childhood best friend’s room with her while her parents were on vacation!
Being ever practical, she maintained art as a hobby and earned her business degree, working as a CPA for nearly a decade before staying home for the past several years with her three young children. However, after years of helping family, friends, and friends of friends with their homes, Catherine has decided to pursue her passion for design and launch Third Street Interiors, LLC.
Third Street Interiors combines Catherine’s eye for design with her practical approach to life. She believes style and function can coexist to create a beautiful, livable home that embraces the chaos of family life.
Catherine spends her free time enjoying family, running on the Prairie Path, and cheering for her kids at their various sporting events.

Catherine completely refreshed my family room and living room. For my family room, I wanted a total redesign with new furniture, rugs, and decor, and she made it work within my moderate budget. She did all of the work for me, and (kindly!) talked me out of a few ideas I suggested that would not have functioned well for my family. For my living room, I did not want to purchase any new furniture. By simply rearranging the layout, purchasing new lamps, pillow covers, and a few other small things, she transformed the room.
