This St. Charles primary bedroom is a great example of how small changes can make a big difference! These empty nesters were in desperate need of a room refresh for their outdated bedroom. They didn't want to replace the furniture, bedside lamps, or paint, but were looking for help to modernize the space.
The design centered around the gorgeous windows, which we accentuated by using their height and shape as a focal point. Timeless white curtains brighten the room and draw the eye up towards the vaulted ceiling. We also ended up flipping the furniture so the tall dresser no longer obstructed the window.
New textured bedding further lightens the space, and a single bolster pillow - to allow for easy but polished bed making - ties in with the blue paint color. We simplified the dresser’s accessories and finished the room with 3 stacked photos of a recent milestone vacation the couple took.
This quick and affordable refresh resulted in a stylish and elevated primary bedroom.
